Are You Ready to Make a HomeGrown Summer Hit? [FINISHED]
Summer is just around the corner (for us in the North), and it’s time for our “Make a HomeGrown Summer Hit” Song Contest. This year we have partnered with Focusrite and KRK Systems to give the winner a complete home studio!
- A Focusrite Scarlett Studio, which includes the Scarlett 2i2 USB Audio Interface, the CM25 Studio Condenser Microphone, HP60 Studio Monitor Headphones, and the Cubase LE 6 recording and mixing software.
- A pair of KRK Rokit 5 Studio Monitors, plus a pair of KRK KNS 8400 Headphones.
The top song on the contest charts on June 21st, 2013 at 7:30PM Pacific will win this prize package. (You can enter up to 2 songs in the contest.)

THE FINE PRINT. Contest Dates Contest ends at 7:30PM Pacific Time on June 21, 2013. To be eligible, a song must have been uploaded between 4:30PM (Pacific) May 17, 2013 and 7:30 PM (Pacific) June 21, 2013, and be submitted with the Contest Code “SUMMER-2”. Eligibility Artists may upload up to two songs for this contest. If you upload more than two songs with the Contest Code “SUMMER-2”, any song(s) uploaded after the first two will appear in the HomeGrownHits.com charts, but will not be recognized as part of the contest. In addition, any song uploaded for this contest cannot be a duplicate of an already existing song on HomeGrownHits.com. By duplicate we mean that the song is a recognizable version of another song, regardless of the title. The HomeGrownHits.com partners and their immediate families are not eligible to win the prizes. In addition, employees of Focusrite or KRK Systems are not eligible. Consent By entering the contest you consent to your artist name and song title being promoted on the HomeGrownHits.com site if you win. Shipment We will contact the winner by email to arrange shipment. We will pay all shipping and US customs charges, however, for non-US prize-winners: you agree to pay any customs charges that your own government may assign during shipment.
